Recently, The Jamaican American Association Of Illinois, sponsored It's Annual Black History Month event @ Chicago's "East Of The Ryan". The honorary guest speaker was Jamaican Ambassador, Dr. Bail K. Bryan who is the author of the book, "The Jamaicans, Children Of God In The Promised Land". It was a very enlightening lecture about the history of the migration of Jamaicans throught out the diaspora and with a lot of emphasis about their migration to the United States. And also the world wide reputation of Jamaicans being surivors and high achievers. Mystic Vibes TV will feature excerpts of his lecture including an exclusive one on interview with WHPK fm Radio (Chicago) , Randolph Coleman. This episode will also have special segment additions featuring The Jamaican American community in Chicago IL. There will be several Reggae music video television debuts during the upcoming season including new music videos from Jr. Marvin's "It's Alright" and new music from Ras Indio's "Ghetto Anthem and more.
Ras Indio is from Belize and is one of the "New Breed" of socially concious International artists who have made a very positive impact through his music and for his community. Even traveling to Ethiopia. Ras Indio 's music and excerpts of his recent journey to Ehtiopia will air on Mystic Vibes TV through out the spring and summer of 2014 in Chicago.
